Our Leadership
IMG_7086.jpeg

A son of a naval officer, Robert joined the US Navy after high school and graduated in 1987 from the US Naval Academy, beginning a 31+ year career in the Navy as a Naval Aviator, and later as a Navy Chaplain where he served aboard ship and with Marines in Iraq. He retired from the Navy in 2018 and moved to Montana to plant an Anglican Church in the Flathead Valley. Robert is a graduate of Reformed Theological Seminary, (2001 MDiv.), and Covenant Theological Seminary, (2014 DMin.). He was originally ordained in the Presbyterian Church in America in 2003, and was ordained a priest in the Anglican Church in North America in 2019. In addition to pastoral care, Robert has experience working with trauma, PTSD, and suicide prevention. Robert and his wife Melissa have one adult daughter who lives in Baltimore, Maryland. Melissa is a clinical mental health counselor and has a private practice in Kalispell, and specializes in trauma. Robert builds 18th century longrifles in his spare time. In their work as church planters, they are passionate about reaching the un-churched, and those who are disenfranchised from the Christian faith.

Rev. Kevin Leach
Deacon
~~~
Kevin Leach is a native of Michigan, having been born and raised in the Detroit area, a long-suffering fan of the city’s professional sports teams. (Thank you, 1968 Tigers!) His academic work included a B.A. in psychology from Eastern Nazarene College; an M.Ed. in community counseling from Georgia State University; an M.A. and Ph.D. in clinical psychology from SUNY Stony Brook (now Stony Brook University). Kevin worked in both clinical and research settings on the east coast, before moving to the Seattle area in 1991. He then worked for five years as a staff psychologist at Rainier School in Buckley, Washington. He joined the faculty of Northwest University (then Northwest College) in 1996 and retired from there in 2023 as a Meritorious Professor Emeritus. Kevin visited Advent Anglican Church (Fr Aaron Burt, Rector) in Washington in 2015 after a short coincidental (in retrospect, providential) conversation with a colleague. Having discovered a church home on that first Sunday, Kevin has attended and served in Anglicanism ever since. He was confirmed in May 2017 and was the parish Verger for Advent Anglican from 2018 to 2022. Kevin served a 3-year term (2019 – 2022) on the Diocesan Council of the Diocese of the Rocky Mountains (DRM). He was a delegate to the DRM Synods every year from 2020 to 2023. He was also elected as a delegate to the Provincial Council of the Anglican Church in North America (ACNA) for four years between 2018 and 2022. He was the lay representative from the DRM to the Global Anglican Future Conference (GAFCON) in Jerusalem in 2018. He continues to serve on the DRM Prayer Ministry team. Upon retiring from teaching in 2023, Kevin moved to Montana where he attends Restoration Anglican Church in Kalispell (Fr Robert Burns, Rector). Restoration Anglican is also in the Diocese of the Rocky Mountains. Kevin was ordained as a Deacon on June 8, 2024.
Elizabeth Busch Letourneau
Music and Aesthetics Ministry Director
~~~

Elizabeth began playing classical guitar at age 7 and piano at age 9, and sang in choirs off and on since she was about 10. She went on to graduate with a Bachelor of Music in classical guitar performance from Colorado Christian University, and a Master of Music (also in classical guitar) from the University of Southern California. She also spent time studying drawing, painting, and writing, and enjoying various forms of dance. After a career full of teaching classical guitar, playing weddings, writing songs, recording, and occasional performing, Elizabeth was ready for a new adventure. She and her husband, Steve, felt the Holy Spirit leading them to Montana, and just before Christmas of 2021, they moved to Kalispell. There they found themselves at Restoration Anglican, where Elizabeth is enjoying working with people and music in a new capacity as director of music and aesthetics.
